Mr. Y. M. Deosthalee is a qualified
Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in law. He joined L&T in
1974 and has been with the company since then. In March 1995, he
was appointed as a member of the Board and is currently
designated Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company. His
portfolio includes finance & accounts, personnel & human
resources (HR) and information technology. He is also on the
board of several subsidiaries & associates L&T (collectively
referred to as L&T Group of companies).
Mr. R. P. Singh
holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
is presently working as the Vice President (ES&P) at Tata Steel.
He has worked with various Steel Plants in Planning &
implementation of projects. Having an extensive experience in
engineering, procurement, contracting, construction, rebuilding
and up gradation of old Blast Furnaces and commissioning and
stabilization of various units of an integrated Steel Plant,
presently Mr. Singh is engaged in implementation of various
Expansion & Growth Projects of Tata Steel.
Mr. K. V. Rangaswami is a B. Tech.
(Civil) from Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai (Madras)
and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management
from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. A member on
the board of L&T, he heads company’s largest division i.e.
Engineering Construction & Contracts (ECC). He is also on the
Boards of several L&T Group companies.
Mr. Bimlendra Jha
is a Ceramic Engineer from IT-BHU, Varanasi, and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management
from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He has immense experience working in the areas of Steel Plant Refractories, Steel Marketing &
Sales, Business Process Reengineering and Brand Management. He is credited with the invention of a comprehensive
improvement framework for Tata Steel called ASPIRE, and introduced the Theory of Constraints at Tata Steel.
He has worked as Executive-In-Charge, Tata Growth Shop and is currently posted in the office of Managing Director,
Tata Steel as Principal Executive Officer. He also holds the posts of Chairman, Indian Value Engineering Society, and
Convener, Technical Education & Training Panel of CII (Jharkhand).
Mr. D. R. Ray holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil
Engineering. Joining Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) in 1977, Mr.
Ray has worked in the capacity of a Construction Manager/Project
Manager and Planning Manager in various fields of construction
such as Fertilizer Plant, Steel Plant, Fuel Oil Handling Plant,
Coal Washery, Material Handling Plant and Unit Workshop for
Mines for over two decades. Mr. Ray has also worked in the
capacity of General Manager and Head – South & East Zones
(Domestic) comprising 4 regions- Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad &
Kolkatta. At Present, the Vice President of the company he is
heading the Industrial Projects & Utilities Sector.
Mr. Sandip Biswas
holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from the University
of Calcutta, and is a member of both, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India,
and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He is currently Group Head Corporate
Finance, Treasury and Investor Relations for Tata Steel Ltd. Prior to taking up this
assignment, he was Chief Corporate Finance and Treasury and Chief Foreign Exchange &
Treasury Management for Tata Steel Ltd. He is also serving as Director on the Boards of
various Tata Steel subsidiaries and Joint Ventures such as Tata Steel Asia Holdings and
Tata Steel Netherlands B.V, supervising core areas such as financing strategies, capital
structure, and liquidity management, among others.
Mr. B. Muthuraman
graduated in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology,
Madras in 1966. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Xavier
Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur and has attended an Advanced Management
Program at ‘Cedep’ (Centre Européen d’Education Permanente, the European Centre for
Executive Development), France. Mr. Muthuraman joined Tata Steel in 1966
and has been with the company since then. Over the years, he has worked in different
capacities in various departments of Tata Steel viz.: blast furnace, marketing and sales,
special projects etc. He became Managing Director of Tata Steel, in July 2001.
Mr. H. M. Nerurkar
graduated in Metallurgical Engineering from the College of
Engineering, Pune in 1971 and joined Tata Steel as Assistant
Research Engineer after graduation. As Vice President, he is
currently responsible for implementation of company’s six (6)
MTPA steel plant at Kalinganagar, in Orissa. During his long
stint with Tata Steel, he has worked in various departments like
Steel and Mills, Supply Chain, Marketing and Project
implementation.
Mr. Koushik Chatterjee is an Honours
Graduate in Commerce from Calcutta University and a Fellow
Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He
has been with Tata Group since 1995. Before 1995, he was Audit
Senior at S B Billimoria & Company, a reputed audit, firm he had
joined, soon after starting his carrier with Britannia
Industries. As Vice President (Finance), a post he has held
since August 2004, he looks after all financing related matters
of Tata Steel. He is on the Board of several TATA group
companies.
Mr. K. G. Hariharan is a Mechanical Engineer. He is currently the Senior Vice President and Head – Industrial Projects and Utilities sector, ECC Division, L&T. He also serves on the Boards of several L&T Group companies.
